This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through Easy Legal Documents (the “Shop”), an online store selling downloadable legal document templates and bundles.

This policy is written to align with South African consumer law and Google’s transparency, digital goods, and consumer protection requirements.

1. Nature of Products

All products sold by Easy Legal Documents are digital legal document templates delivered electronically (PDF, DOCX, or similar formats).

Once payment is completed, documents are made available for immediate download or access.

Because digital products cannot be physically returned and may be copied once accessed, refunds are limited as set out below.

2. No Automatic Refunds on Digital Goods

By completing a purchase, you expressly acknowledge that:

• You are purchasing digital content;
• Delivery occurs immediately after payment; and
• No automatic refunds are available once a document has been downloaded or accessed, except where required by law or where a valid refund ground exists under this policy.

3. When a Refund May Be Granted

A refund may be granted at the sole discretion of Easy Legal Documents if:

• You were incorrectly charged (duplicate payment or technical error);
• The document file is corrupted, incomplete, or inaccessible, and we are unable to provide a working replacement within a reasonable time;
• You received a document that is materially different from the description displayed on the product page;
• Payment was successful but access to the document was never provided.

Where possible, we reserve the right to first:

• Re‑deliver the document; or
• Provide a corrected or replacement version.

4. When Refunds Will Not Be Issued

Refunds will not be granted for:

• Change of mind or deciding not to use the document;
• Incorrect selection or purchase by the customer;
• Failure to read or understand the product description before purchase;
• Documents already downloaded, accessed, or used;
• Documents that do not suit your personal circumstances or jurisdiction;
• Dissatisfaction with wording where the document matches the description;
• Any legal outcome, enforcement issue, or result arising from use of the document.

5. No Legal Advice Disclaimer

All documents sold by Easy Legal Documents:

• Are standard templates intended for self‑help and general information purposes;
• Do not constitute legal advice;
• Do not create an attorney‑client relationship.

You are responsible for ensuring that a document is suitable for your specific situation and complies with applicable law.

6. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, you must:

1. Contact us within 7 days of the date of purchase;
2. Email easylegalrental@gmail.com with:
   • Your order number or proof of payment;
   • A clear description of the issue.

We aim to respond within 3–5 business days.

If approved, refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We encourage customers to contact Easy Legal Documents directly before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

Unjustified chargebacks after document access may be disputed with the payment provider and may result in suspension of future purchases.

8. Changes to This Policy

Easy Legal Documents reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. The version displayed on the website at the time of purchase will apply to that transaction.
